1. EPHEMERAL IN-MEMORY HTML PROCESSING
When you submit a URL for inspection, our asynchronous FastAPI backend fetches the public webpage over HTTPS using standard desktop browser headers to bypass client CORS restrictions. The fetched HTML is parsed exclusively in volatile server RAM using BeautifulSoup.
We do not persist, mirror, or write the target webpage HTML or media assets to disk or database.
2. AUDIT LOGGING & TELEMETRY
To maintain system stability, enforce abuse limits, and prevent Denial of Service (DoS) attacks against target host servers, we log minimal non-blocking audit records:
- Client IP address (anonymized or proxy-masked).
- Target inspected domain (e.g., github.com).
- Action performed (e.g., inspect_url, copy_meta).
- Timestamp of request.
No personal identification, session cookies, or authorization tokens from inspected websites are ever captured or stored.
3. NO THIRD-PARTY TRACKING PIXELS
SEO & Open Graph Studio is designed with developer privacy as a core principle. We do not bundle third-party advertising trackers, cross-site trackers, or cookie consent banners.
4. EXTERNAL MEDIA ASSET CAUTION
Social card image previews load directly from the public URLs declared in the target webpage's meta tags (e.g., `og:image`). When your browser loads these images, your browser connects directly to the respective content delivery network (CDN) of the target site.
